Year of foundation
According with the project, a building with the area of 4,843 thousand m2 was built, modern production and laboratory equipment was installed.
2004
Production
Serial production of medicines started.
Licensed to carry out pharmaceutical activities.
The first drugs: Ambroxol, Drotaverine, Enalapril, Vinpocetine, Amlodipine.
The testing laboratory is accredited for compliance with STB ISO / IEC 17025.

Today the company produces a wide range of drugs in solid forms (tablets, capsules, powders for solutions, sterile injections in ampoules. In 2015 Lekpharm started production of sterile injections in ampoules.

In 2020 Lekpharm manufactured medicines in amount of 83,1 mln USD. Thus, the growth rate was 108,3% compared to the same period of 2019. Exported products worth $ 29.47 mln USD, the growth rate is 195%.
Production areas of the enterprise is - 12 802 square meters.
The main direction is development and production of drugs that affect cardiovascular system. Lekpharm also manufactures drugs for treatment of the musculoskeletal system, nervous system, for general anesthesia, the treatment of the gastrointestinal tract, cough, vitamins and minerals.
Today the number of employees - 412 people.
JLLC «Lekpharm» has 128 registration certificates by international nonproprietary name (INN). With all dosages the company produces 197 different dosage forms.
The company is developing rapidly by expanding the range of products, dosage forms and the introduction of new production capacities. In 2020 9 new drugs were registered in the Republic of Belarus. In terms of development and registration for 2021 - 22 medicines in different dosages.

In 2015 Lekpharm started production of sterile injections in ampoules. The facility that was equipped with modern high-tech equipment of leading world manufacturers, such as Bosch (Germany), Techinox (Italy), Belimed (Switzerland/Germany), Brevetti (Italy), Neri (Italy).
Innovative equipment and modern technologies allow to reach production capacity of 150 mln ampoules per year.
In 2017 started operation new manufacturing for production of solid dosage forms in tablets, capsules and powder for solution, in accordance with international GMP standard.

Quality system
JLLC «Lekpharm» has the international GMP/ PICs certificate for the production of solid dosage forms in tablets, as well as national GMP certificates for the production of capsules, sachets and sterile injections in ampoules. The company has created and operates a quality management system that ensures the release of quality-assured products. The basic process steps are controlled by software.
The quality system covers all stages of the production of medicaments: 100% control of raw materials, control of intermediates and finished products. Production process is carried out using continuous in-process control. Quality control laboratory is equipped with modern equipment of leading world manufacturers.
The laboratory is accredited according to ISO 17025. All production equipment and manufacturing processes pass validation process that ensures stable operation of the equipment and process stability. All procedures are performed by specially trained personnel.
